Alcohol deaths in 2020 in the U.S.
Alcohol deaths increased by 25.5% between 2019 and 2020 (first year of the coronavirus pandemic). In 2020, 99,017 people died due to alcohol in the U.S.
Probably no surprise to anyone. But I had no idea how high the increase in percentage the alcohol related deaths went up.
25% is a pretty big increase in alcohol related deaths!
We do not have the actual statistics as far as how many were the result of at-home app delivery. But I've got to imagine this was a major cause of this stat.
